Meet the family
Boroughs & Brood is a guide to things to do in New York City with kids, written by Dan and Julia, a British family who visit the city as often as they can, with two children, six and seven, to test it all on. Guides, a calendar of family events, the playground map and one free email a week, all checked against the venue's own page.

Why we make this
We wanted one plain, honest place that answers the questions we actually ask before a day out in New York: which train, will the stroller survive it, is there a restroom, what does it cost, and is it any good for a six-year-old. Nothing did all of that, so we built it, and we share it because it helps families who live here as much as families who are visiting.
